Hi guys,

My mate has tried to create an account a few times could you activate it please.

Hmm, he's probably been deleted. If I can't make out a normal username I usually delete it. Ask him to register again and I'll watch out for him this time.

To explain, we get loads of spam registrants every day. To make sure no bad bots get in we delete anything we don't like or understand as a username. The name your friend is registering makes no sense at all (to me) so was deleted.

Get upgraded to phpBB v3. I did it for the ecbbl and cut the spam registrations from several per day to about one per month

Can someone please check if a member called Toxophilly has been activated? He's tried to sign up a couple of times with no luck. He's a member of ECBBL and would like to be able to see what goes on here.

That user does not exist.

Ask him to register again and I'll keep an eye on him.

As of now (9.30pm GMT) there are NO outstanding accounts waiting for activation, so if you know someone that thinks they have an account which, after trying, they cannot log into, it means that account doesn't exist in the database.
