Greetings from Germany

Post by Demagoge »

Hi everybody,

after about 5 years of not playing, me and a couple of friends started a BB-league. And as I´m playing me beloved Elves-Team, I just wanted to find a place to talk about Blood Bowl in general and great passing game in special.

I´m sorry for my very intermediate english, but as known from the topic, I´m not a native speaker. I hope there´ll be not to many mistakes in my spelling (and of course gramma^^).

I´m looking forward for a great time here.

Best regards,
Michael

Greetings Michael,

Good to hear you've got your own wee league on the go. Hope you time on the forum is pleasant. Everyone is really nice (well almost everyone :P) and more than happy to share their blood bowl expertise/experiences.

Oh and I wouldn't worry about the english to much.

Hi Purdindas,

thanks for the warm welcome. I also hope for a pleasant time here.

Our league is very small. We only have 6 players. Eventhough it´s for fun. And that´s the only reason to play blood bowl (beside killing enemy players, of course  ).

Have a nice evening,
Michael

Hi Traveller,

I´m from Kaiserslautern. It´s not to far from Mainz.

We just started playing since june. So I won´t play tournaments till october. But we´re planning to start a small BB-tournament at our next convention (KaRoTa). I´ll post the tournament here, if we´ll get it working.

Greetings,
Michael

We´re actually running our BB-league with the rules of the LRB 5. If we´re planning to organice a tournament should we use the LRB 5 or are there any other rules, that should be used. In another forum someone said that the BB-Competition Rules Pack is the actual tournament rules set. Is this correct?

Best regards

Yep... imo...thats correct. I guess at least for the NAF-ranking-counting-Tournaments it must be this Competition-rules-pack.
But i´m not the Rulez-Guru here.

I think most leagues use the CRP now and certainly every tournament in the UK uses the CRP as the rules since they came out

Hi Punkpogoer,

thanks for the nice welcome. We´ve got a lot of americans stationed in our region and we have a good relationship with our american neighbours. If you´ll ever come back to K-town you´re invited to join our leaugue.

Hi everybody,

I didn´t want to open a new thread for this, but I hope there´ll be some answers.

After I´m near finishing my Pro-Elves this week. I´m looking for a new team to paint. I really fell in love with the frogs from Gaspez-Arts. So the team to play would be Slann. Has anyone some ideas for me, how I should build my starting Cockerel? I thought about this:

2 Catchers - 160.000
2 Blitzers - 220.000
7 Linefrogs - 420.000
4 Rerolls - 200.000

I hope that the most of my team will survive the first game. There should be some inducements (I hope enough for a wandering apothecary).

I really hope, you can help me out.

Best regards
