I got into BB with nothing but the PDF of the rulebook. Everything else you can pretty much make due.
I built my own rollable BB pitch with some green cloth/felt, a steel ruler and white-paint cloth pen.
For Blocking dice you can just use a D6 (I use casino-dice since theoretically they are perfectly balanced):
1 - Attacker Down
2 - Both Down
3 - Push
4 - Push
5 - Push/Pow
6 - Pow!
Thrown-in templates and scatter templates you can find on the web and print on transparency. Same for dug-outs, but I put those on card-stock.
Passing template: I would use the one that shows the squares rather than the loser-stick, since if you do your own pitch chances are it will be a little different from the "official" pitch (where I believe that the squares are actually not all the same size).
Models you can put together from any plastic set, be it GW or third party, or you can buy teams from the many excellent offers of third-party support.
