New player, looking for a club in London

Post by Sword of Solkan »

Hi all,

I picked up a copy of the Blood Bowl computer game on Steam recently, and enjoyed it so much that I've picked up a team of Gaspez Arts' Slann figures and am thinking of making the transition to tabletop gaming.

Does anyone know of any clubs in London? I'm aware of ECBBL, but am having difficulty registering on their forum.

Have a look through here viewforum.php?f=79 and the NAF website, they have a league locator.

Various members of the ECBBL are active here, vmcat and Lycos springs to mind, try PMing them :)

And welcome to the game
;)

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Slann, that's ambitious. We meet on Tuesdays and are generally friendly, other than me if you play dwarves. PM me and l will tell Val or Erik that you are interested. Be warned the learning curve is steep as some of the guys there (not me) are top draw coaches. You will learn a lot tho. I am happy to give you a game. You will win it.

If you cannot stall out for an 8 turn drive to score with dwarves then you need to go and play canasta with your dad..if you can find him.

Not top drawer spellers though. Sorry Heff, couldn't resist.

Thanks, PM sent.

Would you be free for a game next Tuesday? I’d prefer it if you didn’t just let me win – my ego’s not so fragile that it won’t survive losing a game of football.

I’m aware that the Slann are a difficult team to play, but once I saw the Gaspez Arts models it was difficult to imagine playing anything else.
