Converted Human Teams

Post by rochallor »

Firstly, g'day to all - this is my first post in TBB. I have actually been visiting this site for almost a year now, but I've never bothered to create an account - dunno why, the forums are great and have provided me with much inspiration and amusement. Thanks guys.

Anyway, my Q is about converted human teams - are there any forums about them, and/or are there any sites that have cool pics of teams? I have almost finished my own humies, but any ideas would still be appreciated.

Thanx 8)

Welcome!

Have you tried doing a search? There may well be old forums on it.

Converting's not really my cup of tea I'm afraid but if you post on the minis section you should be inundated with ideas.

Best of luck with the team.

I haven't performed any human conversions myself...what are you looking for? Bretonnians? Empire? I can imagine a great team made from plastic Empire bitz... :D

The team I am working on at the moment is converted from the plastic soldiers of the empire box set, with gloves from human BB models and space marine shoulder pads. I'd post some pics, but i dont have access to digital camera or scanner :(

Kudos on the avatar :D

For my humies I just use the Shadowforge chicks. They can then also double as Amazons if I'm feeling Dodgy.

Isn't "dodgy" Brit-speak for "bad" or even "spoiled"? Like "I had some dodgy eggs at breakfast, now my tummy is all queasy." I don't know, I just think that's funny.

Yeah, we say 'dodgy' in Oz too - often used to describe something suspect or suspicious - 'that was a dodgy business deal' Strange word.
For my humies I just use the Shadowforge chicks.
My team has several Shadowforge cheerleaders, as well as 'Sports Nurse Amanda' as my apothecary  They are cool minis.
