Exiles 2010 11/12th September - Lycos Wins

Not sure what everyone is wanting to do for the saturday night. I know quite a few of you guys are staying in local B+Bs or crashing on mates floors, so will probably be looking for something of an evening.
there are plently of pubs and restaurants in the area, and one of my current faves is an all-you-eat chinese on the quay. so may i suggest a few drinkies then we stuff ourselves silly with chinese food?

Perhap's I shouldn't have taken that new job!

Finally get to go to a tourney next week, but only to a 1 dayer!

Thanks to everyone for coming, I thoughly enjoyed it and I wasn't even playing!

The following awards were given;

Geo Spence 88 "Dirtiest Coach" with 9 sent off for fouling
BeastBoy "Wooden Spoon"
BeastBoy "Most Squishey" (25 CAS suffer) and
BeastBoy "No Defence" (16 TDs conceeded).
Diamond Joe Quimby "Stunty Cup Winner". This was still in contention right up the final dice roll of the closest other stunty player.
TankFace "Quiz Master" for getting 19 1/2 out of 20 in the BB general knowledge quiz.
TankFace "Top Scorer" with 20 TDs scored. This was another close one and was only settled in the final dice of another match.
TankFace "Runner Up" with 60 out of 79 points, and the third place on 59 this was another close award.
Lycos "Most Violent" with 22 CAS. Again, the final dice of the match of the second highest CAS scorer gave this to Lycos.

And of course, Lycos "Overall Winner of the Exiles Open 2010, the Stag Bowl" with 73 points out of 79. This was actually closer than it looks. Going into the last round 3 coaches were in a position to win it.

Well done to everyone.
I'm going into hibernation now, for the winter, and will see you all in 2011.

PS. Glowworm wanted an honourable mention for 4th place. He's very chuffed

Top weekend, played 6 different races (Norse, Goblins, Necro, D/Elves, Lizardmen & Wood elves) with 6 excellent opponents

...& by the way its SLAVERS not Slayers

Top Weekend, thoroughly enjoyed all my games (yes, even Glowworm's 1st ever Tournament win against me!!)
