Cool Trophy!!! It will be mine....
This event is NAF sanctioned, i.e. there are going to be NAF world ranking points to be won and lost!
So if you're attending this tourney, taking up NAF membership (when it becomes available) is gonna enrich the experience and is highly recommended! The more NAF registered coaches in attendance, the more ranking points will be up for grabs! Make yourself a part of it....

Question
I'm a little hazy on exactly how this is run. Does the painting score contribute to the overall match score to determine the winner of the event (it seems a very high proportion of the overall score), or is it only match points that determine the final four for the playoffs?
We will play a total of 8 games of Blood Bowl over the weekend. These will provide you with an overall ranking. The 7th & 8th games will see the top 4 teams running for a chance at winning the trophy the rest will be battling for pride and to improve your overall ranking for the weekend.
Games will be scored as follows.
3pts for a win
1pt for a draw
0pts for a loss
1 pt for scoring 3 or more Touch Downs
1 pt for causing 3 or more casualties
We will then be allocating a painting score out of a possible 20 points and a sportsmanship score determined by a poll on the record sheets.

I'm looking forward to the "1 and 1/2 hours per game"
I'll be bringing my stop watch
Its got me thinking though..it states that if time runs out the current score stands, so say your oppo is winning, by one, starts wasting time and then wins by running out the clock,..so he gets a yellow card but youve been robbed,
And I guess I'll have to start work on my team.
Will these rules also get posted out?

Trambi: Every NAF registered coach will have a world ranking, kind of a worldwide ladder. Every time you play against another NAF coach at a tournament, you will gain or lose points and your position will go up or down. Luckily for you it's not been launched yet, so A'dam doesn't matter!
Next year however...
I hope you and Longshot can make it over to Reading, just jump on the Eurostar!

Hmm, guess Spyke had better think about going to the Spiky Club tournament as Spyke only lives 9 miles away from the town the Spiky Club tournament is being held in
But turns of just over 2 minutes each will be a bit tight
Thnkfully I'll not be repeating the mistakes of the Tiptoe Tournament, Dark Elves Rule
