Any ideas on the rules you will be using for the tournament at all?

Cheers

It's gonna be Blood Bowl style without Stars. Prizes worth having! :D

Does it have to be the same as The Blood Bowl (well apart from the Stars)?

Why not use a 5-3-2-1-0 scoring system instead?

Any one else favour TR 110 tourney too?

Unfortunately, Shanie can't get in to TBB right now, so you won't get an answer unless you mail him directly.

I'd like to see some draw - loss by 1 differentiation, otherwise my 1-1 draws are going to drag me to bloodbowl style finishing position way down the bottom (despite losing just 1)!
I'm going either way, but I would like to see that change, it devalues hanging on for a draw otherwise.

But with no difference between a loss and a draw, it encourages teams that are behind to hurry up and score leaving time for both teams to win.

At the bloodbowl that made games that I played in alot more exciting (although it played into my hands so I'm biased).

But it also means if you are winning by a TD and have possession that both player's incentive is to stop the other one scoring (the winning player doesn't want a draw, the losing player doesn't want to concede another).

I like a difference between Draws and lost by 1.
I made 3 draws,2 Victory and 1 loss (by more than 1) at BB42 and i finished 93....
When people could have done 2 victory, 4 loss by one and be in front of me...Is that logic? Dont believe so.
Anyway, in Tournament, people always try to win, by one or more, because if you dont, you will certainly not going to the finals.

So would people rather the score system was...

Win 5
Darw 3
Lose by 1 2
Lose by more than 1 1
Quit 0

And you were given a TR 110 to start with?

We have also had the 1st of the money in! :D Chears ~Fire breather.

Before i forget, DW, Ian Williams or any1 for that matter got a program with the swiss system on it they can send us? The one that Fanatic gave us turned out to be a 'How to run a tournament' pack.

Sorry to say I don't have a program to help.

I'm sure NAF organisers must have something. If not, PM me, and I may be able to rustle something up in time.

As for the scoring system I'd prefer 5-3-2-1-0 and TR 110 - but maybe discuss with DW & Marcus systems they'd recommend.

Not that I've got my entry in yet (I am waiting to hear on two others at the mo before sending in) but....

I'd agree with Ian. Better scoring differential, and TR110 encourages more team variance.

5-3-2-1-0

But the TR will still be 100, sorry guys.

We have had alot of interest so far and over half the places are spoken for(no money handed over yet but have said they will be comming), the stadium is comming on well and should be finished on time (i hope). My chearleader outfit is in progress as well
