Was just looking over the rules for this and was wondering why there is division 1 and then 2x division 3 but no division 2?

Northern counting system?

Attention Fruit-a-teers, only 3 days left after this, so make sure you've got everything ready; you don't want to slip up on any banana skins now do you ;-)

See you all real soon..........

Well, a massive thank you to all of those who did attend. Sadly there were 7 drop outs in the last 2 weeks, 6 of which were in the last week and 2 on the day itself. Even with a field of just 50% we still had a great (and fruity!) time.

Highlights:

- Jordell and Polar Bear's constant (tongue in cheek) sniping at each other all the way through Game 1
- Valen whinging about having to sit through the whole of the Eurovision Song Contest (on DVD)...... and then asking for some of the songs to be rewound and repeated!
- Nippy singing along to Eurovision Songs :o :lol:
- Jordell complaining about the fruit in the trifle and skimming off the cream, then going back for the fruit and wolfing it down as he realised that was were all the alcohol was!

Final Placings:

1 Nippy - 30 points (Vamp)
2= Jordel - 29 points (Vamp)
2= Valen* - 29 points (Flings)
4 Sann - 25 points (Ogres)
5 Chosen Gobbo - 15 points (Goblins)
6= Olaf* - 11 points (Flings)
6= Polar Bear - 11 points (Flings)

*Given his conduct in Game 3, it was decided to award his points from that game to his alter ego, "Olaf", after constant chants of "1, 1, 1, 1...... YEAH!!!" when his opponent was attempting (and failing) GFI rolls

Fruit selections:

Nippy - Pineapple (the, now traditional, winner's selection)
Jordell - Braeburn Apple
Valen - Satsuma
Sann - Equadorian Papaya
Chosen Gobbo - Golden Delicious Apple
Polar Bear - Canteloupe Melon

Prizes:

Nippy - Biggest Fruit
Jordell - Fruitbowl II Dugout
Polar Bear - Mouldiest Fruit

Teams:

Nippy's Vamps had 6 vamps, Helmut Wulf, Wilhelm Chaney and no Rerolls!
Jordell's Vamps had Count Luthor!
Polar Bear's flings had no Trees (only Deepfruit)

SnotBowl:

12 games played (in 30 mins!) and some excellent feedback

Yarr top fruity action. The garden made for an excellent venue, and also provided much needed ventilation for Gav's farts.

Thanks again to Geoff for hosting, and the excellent choice of morning entertainment in the form of the eurovision rerun.

Like the pics too, especially the rugged chap with the pineapple.

Bring on the winter fruits!

Yeah - thanks Geoff, and an excellently comfy mattress too after you cleaned me out of chips :)

Bring on December, and mulled wine!

I wish I could honestly justify the exorbitant cost of a flight to be at the next one.

Living in another country sucks sometimes :(

Ah well...nearly 'Dam time again.
