Toy soldier 2008 26th - 27th July Preston UK

Toy Soldier in Preston will be running a Blood Bowl section this year, 2 days 5 games. I am helping to run and have written the rules. I am hoping this will be a NAF event as well!!!

So rules and entry forms and money

Entry forms are not out yet but as soon as they are i will let you know. Also you will need to fill it out and return them. I do not think you will be able to just turn up on the day.

Money, It will £17 for 2 days and 5 games. Food is not provided. Pub and shops near.

The rules:
What to bring

Your Team.
A board.
Money for food and drinks.

The Team

1,100,000gp.
Must have at least 1 Fan Factor.
No star players.

Scoring

Swiss scoring 0-32pts

Skills and characteristics

After each game 1or 2 players will be given a skill or a characteristic increase. A player may not gain more than one skill or characteristic, but a player may be given 1 skill and 1 characteristic.

After:
Game 1: 2 players of your choice will receive a normal skill.
Game 2: 1 player of your choice will gain +1 strength.
Game 3: 1 player of your choice will receive a double skill.
Game 4: 1 player of your choice will gain +1 agility.

I thought for one horrible second that the Toy Soldier in Sydney was running a tournament the same weekend as Euc Bowl. Phew.

Looking at the dates for Carrot Crunch there shouldn't be a problem.

Hope to see lots of you guys there. Could do with a big turn out to make this another tourney for the north west
