Bless you my son, although i think stick may feel that there has been a bit of a copyright enfringement.

Cheers to Alex for a great tourney. Being stunty only made for some very funny, and very frustrating games at time. Shanes last game where at one time he had 15 squigs on the pitch was hilarious. What was even more hilarious, was that with 15 "balls" on the pitch he still couldn'e score!!!

Was a fun tourney, and would definitely be a return trip next year. Came away with 1/1/1.

Polarbear, PM on it's way. :pissed:

Biggest problem I have is I still don't know who anyone was. Apart from Zoglug (2-0), Alex and Polar Bear. Oh and Ninja Hamster of course, mate we have to have another game somewhere sometime, you understand how to make Blood Bowl fun my man!

Thanks to Alex for organising, to DazLamb, Pubbowler, Ged and GingerNinja for the games. I must say a big, big sorry to Daz though for my condition on Saturday morning  I was in a real state.

Great fun tourney, big thanks to Alex for organising!

Really enjoyed my first ever games with Halflings - They're surprisingly good at the running game aren't they? against other stunties at least!

Thanks to everyone I played - good stuff all round!

I ended up on table 1 and i won something!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Well i had a great 1st game...then it all went to pot :-? After a 2-0 win and 5 cas caused (i think) i got moved up to play Nippy in game 2 on the top table. The altitude was way to much for me and my guys as i lost 2-0 and to add insult to injury Nippy caused 10 CAS on me...and i caused 5 on me as my last turn saw my last Gobbo fail to dodge and break his neck leaving my whole team in the Dead box

3rd game against Rob/Jesus was a hard one as i didnt want to go to Hippy hell for beating 'The almighty' himself and so ended up with a 1-1 draw. This saw me move down the tables again and the nose bleed started to stop.

Last game was against Daz... Squig bowl was...err...odd! After nothing happening for most of the 1st half as far as squigs go... BANG! The squigs went mad and we ended up with 16 extra squigs (17 if you count the squig that started life as the ball) :o With so many squigs on the boards it all got a little bit bewildering and the game fell to bits. During the 2nd half i got my arse handed to me on a plate and lost 3-1. And yes...down in the ranks i went again :-?

With all the scores in i had gone from 2nd place in round 2 (I think Nippy was 1st) to about 18th by the end of game 4! :?: When the awards came round it turned out id won the '

Excellent day, massive thanks to alex for organising it. Me and Ged had a great time and this is definately an event worthy of repeating.

Thanks to my opponents for 4 great games, and to Puggy, for just being himself.

A fantastic tourney, and thanks to everyone I played for some fantastic games. Especially Zoglug for that last match, I haven't had that much fun in a BB game in a while :) Here's to a grudge re-match at the waterbowl '09!

Big thanks to Alex for organising it as well :D

Though this is the second tourney I came 2nd to last in  (I'll bring a 'big boys' team next year)

I also got to demo some snotbowl on the bottom two tables before the 3rd game. I really should download Geoffs updated rules before trying that at the next tourney...

Dazlamb: You left a gobbo in the pub after your game with Shane. PM me an address and I'll send it to you mate.

Echo thanks to Alex. First time using Gobbos and first time I've played against Halfings and Ogres.
Great fun.

Fluked my first win against Wightlord, no question.

Geoff's recovery from alcohol posioning sealed my fate in game 2.

Fouling Snotlings got me through my third one.

And Jamie coaching skills canceled out Mord getting 7 halfing CAS.

Morg and no rerolls don't equal many wins.
But they do equal BB craziness.

I really enjoyed Saturday and would like to thank all the coaches who attended (especially those like Gorgoroth, Hoomin, PubBowler, Evil Git who had travelled a long way to play in a one dayer) and made the day go so well. It was also nice to see some new tournament players (Jimmy, Jed, Wilbur etc) who we will hopefully see again.

Highlights for me:

- Watching Geoff get player after player sent off trying to foul Puggy in his game vs Jed
- Shane's squigtastic game 4
- Jed's tremendous 6 TTM touchdowns (4 ahead of the nearest contender for the 'frequent flyer' award)
- Watching Zoglug vs The Chosen Gobbo. A great game that Zog needed to win to avoid last place. At 2-2 he was in sight of a winning TD, but a failed GFI denied him.
- Nippy's monstering of Hoomin and then Shanie on the casualty front
- Gorgoroth endlessly getting hammered for casualties, but still staying undefeated

Thanks to:

- Geoff for preparing the score cards for me before the tournament (and turning up despite being clinically dead  )
- Nippy for making the AV1 and Frequent Flyer awards
- Everyone that took their 'comedy' prizes in good humour
- Everyone!

Awards:

Winner - Geoff (Deadling Team and Prone/stunned counters)
Most Casualties - Jordell (Stunty Slam mug - yet to arrive)
Most TDs - Geoff (Stunty Slam mug - yet to arrive)
'Big Game Hunter' for most big guys killed - Jordell (Lion bars and ref fig)
'Frequent Flyer' for most TTM TDs - Jed (Award)
'AV1' award for most hurt received - Shaniepoo (award and 'Boo Boo Baby' cold pack)
'Dirty Sheets' award for most scored on - Thechosengobbo (Anusol)
Wooden Spoon - Zoglug (Tin of Irish Stew made by Goblin)

Scores and pictures to follow soon.

I hope to do another Stunty Slam in 2009 and already have a few ideas. Hope to see you there :)

Cheers Alex, was a great day and loads of fun.

Had 3.5 good games. Managing a 1-1-2. LAst game was going ok until events conspired against me: Master Chef stealing all my rerolls, Pouring rain and the ball squig splitting every five minutes meant I had no chance to stop halflings dropping in my half and stealing a ball squig with there 8!!! rerolls.

May I be the first one to suggest that there should be bonus points to all of Geoffs opponents.

Just like an MVP in a game you get beat 3-0 on TD & 3-0 on CAS...

P.S. I'm only bitter cause I lost to 1st & 2nd Place and thus ended thoroughly mid-table.

I think this is a great idea, Dave ;) Maybe there could be an alternate score for playing Geoff. Geoff loses points for every successful pass, hand off, block, dodge, GFI or TD. What do you think ;)?
