Pearly Kings & Queens VI
The ECBBL are proud to present the 6th Pearly Kings and Queens Bloodbowl tournament, to be held on the 18th and 19th April 2009. This InfoPack will provide you with most of the details for the weekend. If you have any enquiries please feel free to pm Blitzwing on this forum.

Venue
Our venue this year is Southwell house, 39 Fitzjohn’s Avenue, Hampstead, London, NW3 5JT. It’s conveniently located close to central London, a short walk from Finchley Road tube station or a short drive from Junction 1 of the M1. In a change to past tournaments we will be running this years PK&Qs in a conference centre as opposed to a pub or bar, the advantages of this being much lower entry fees and letting players bring their own food and drink into the venue.

Costs
£20 for NAF members
£25 for Non NAF members (this includes sign up to NAF)
+£30 for B&B at the venue Saturday night (Available to book up until 14th February)
There is space for up to 48 coaches to take part, places will be given those who pay 1st. Payment details are in our InfoPack.

Tournament Format
This will stay the more the same as previous years, 6 rounds Swiss with the 1st round draw made using NAF rankings. We’ll be using LRB5, no stars or inducements except for the Chef for halfling teams. Chaos Pact, Slann and Underworld teams will be allowed.

Awards
1st Place, 2nd Place, Best Stunty, Most TDs, Most CASs, Best Painted, Blackshirt Hunter & Best Newcomer.

We look forward to seeing you all again :D

Thinking about using the sleeper train to get down to this one.

But I'll wait for the date to be settled before I promise more.

Glad to see so much early interest.

It looks like the tourney will take place on the weekend of the 18-19 simply because the weekend of the 11-12 is Easter.

But again, I'll confirm that asap.

It would be nice seeing you again.

I'd like to try again getting discounted accommodation, but for that to happen, I'll have to close accommodation bookings and payments from coaches by November or early December 2008.

However, if you're happy to arrange your own accommodation again (the ECBBL members will still be available to give you some advice though), you will be able to buy your ticket in 2009 as for the last tournament.

Gazza, I just hope we don't get swamped by crowds in London, thinking Will Ferrell is in town  .
