Are you speaking about just the Red Deer crew, or do you know a lot of the guys from Calgary, Lethbridge and Edmonton? Have you talked to a lot of Albertan coaches? I've sent an email to a few of them but unfortunately I don't know all of them.

Have you spoken to destroy or any of those guys?

We have the request, and I have "Da Scum" crew working on it, we should know our numbers, and shall find a way to "make room" as it were.

...as I'm pretty sure we can tie up our Goblin coach and have him ride on the ski rack up top during the trip...

That's funny. Your ears must have been ringing or something because I was just about to send you a mail. Good to hear from you Dave. Looking forward to seeing your next theme team.

Am I going to be seeing the 'pink dice of doom' emerge this year?

When you know more, be sure to sign onto the registration page so we can get a further idea of numbers. Again, you can change your mind on the team prior to the Spike so don't feel that once you've registered your team your choice is locked - simply not the case.

Looking forward to seeing the golden brew at every table this year. I owe you a pint once you get out here man. We've reduced the number of games on the first day from 4 to 3, for a total of 6 games for the weekend, but opened up open gaming, and open drinking, on the Saturday night.

If we get a chance, you and I will play a Dungeonbowl game were each of us will have to take a shot everytime somebody rolls a double one or double skull. Deal? See you in 3 weeks.

The Compass Point Inn has reserved 25 rooms for us. We will get the corporate discount, which means:

1 Large room with 2 Queen sized beds: $89.00 CAD
- additional occupents +$10-15 (still waiting for an answer) per head up to 4

Just mention that you are attending the Spike tournament that weekend to receive the discount. Otherwise, if you don't mention that you are going to the Spike, you will not get a room as they have these rooms reserved for us.

2 weeks to go until the Spike. Pre-registration is not required as we will never turn anybody away at the door, but if you do plan on attending please sign onto the Spike site as we are still trying to get a better idea of numbers and anything people can tell us will save us from scrambling to make more tables available in the morning. I predict we are going to be pleasantly surprised Saturday morning, so any more info you can give us is much appreciated.

Just a heads up to any travelers: we're experiencing a rare heatwave in Vancouver so pack for 30° C (86°F)!
