I'd also understood the tourney rules doc to mean that any Cas you cause (as opposed to failed GFIs, failed Dodges, etc.) would count toward Cas.Rab wrote:I know that's what it says in the Living Rulebook, but in the CarrotCrunchRulez document it says:That's why I thought chainsaws (and, I guess, bombs, stab etc) might count towards game CAS.Carrot Crunch Rulez Document wrote:blocking, fouling and crowd push casualties count

Ok spoke to king carrot, and here is a quick overview of the CC rules.
Blocks, fouls and crowd pushes all count to your CAS.
Things like failed GFI, dodges and throw team mate won't count to your CAS count.
You may wait until you know your next opponent before you choose your next skill
Before game 2 you may give 1 chosen skill to 1 player
Before game 3 you may give either 1 chosen Doubles skill to 1 player or 1 skill to 2 random players
Before game 4 you may give 1 chosen skill to 3 players to last the remainder of the tournament
So you will end up with 5 or 6 skills depending on your choices unless you
bought some at the start, players may not receive more than one skill the only exception to this rule is if you take the random player option and you roll happens to land on a player who has already received a skill
Stat increase may not be awarded
Hope this helps, any other questions please ask, and we'll make sure everyone knows all this before we start on the sat.
Edit: Removed chainsaws after talk with rodders, sorry.

Ah well. At least I'm only bringing one. I'll just concentrate on the Wooden Spoon then, rather than the Wooden Spoon/Most Casualties double.Magic Dave wrote:Sorry Emrys after talking to Shane i got the wrong end of the stick, saws won't count.
Two supplementary questions (just so I'm clear):
1. As fouls count for Casualties are chain-assisted fouls excluded?
2. If - or rather "when" - the saw kicks back and hurts/maims/mutilates/kills my looney, does my opponent get a Cas?

Why don't goblin coaches have their own little unofficial competition, just entre nous?

How about the "Most Casualties That Should Have Counted But Are Being Disallowed award", sponsored by S.CH.WI.N.G. (the Society for CHainsaw WIelding Naughty Goblins)?
I'll draw up a certificate or something.
