It was a fun weekend, really enjoyed the Saturday Night chinese meal.

Can't believe vmcat rolled six 6's in a row (he didn't need 6's, he rolled them for fun) in scoring the TD to beat me in the final game, I make that a 1 in 46,656 chance and he still had to make a final 4+ to score!

I think i had a good weekend, its still all a bit hazy, if only that had been due to Alcohol and not antiobiotics :D
Nice to play a couple of different people in cracol & lunch money shame i couldnt put up more of a fight.
Well done to Darkson & the ARBBL lads for organising, i think the Fimir figure is superb, just need to work out what to use him as now.

Mistake in the final round - vmcat beat besters, not the other way round - 4th tourney, first input error - damn!

I'll get an updated final Final score done, and inform Lycos later about getting the NAF results changed. Before I do, anyone else notice anything wrong, or was it just the last game I got wrong (and no Silly, you did not get another win  ).

Cheers for a top weekend and well done on a top tourney Simon.

Big thanks to everyone I played - some of the closest games I've had at a Tourney.

Highlight was a ridiculous dodge -pick up-GFI-long pass to a covered lineman who promptly caught-dodged-GFIed to score versus Ddark - sorry about that!

Biggest piece of bad luck I saw was Dutty dave who needed a 4+ catch with a reroll for his Bull Centaur to score and deservedly tie the match. The first didn't make it. The second....was hit by the dice cup as it was lifted and came up short! If it had come up 4+, someone else would have won the whole tourney.

Great to catch up with everyone after 6 months away.

See you all for some Scrumpy next Month.

Request for the hall for March 2011 has been put in, so hopefully will have a date fixed soon.

There's nothing in the diary for March next year in the hall, so if I can get a letter in soon, I can choose the weekend.
So any preferences?
5th/6th
12th/13th
19th/20th
26th/27th

Looking at the 19th/20th, but didn't the weekend clash with someone's elses tourney?

Also up for discussion:

Doubling the w/d/l points (keep bonuses as is)
Chefs @ 50k, goblin bribes @ 50k - keep or remove.

Extra skill for (official) tier 3 teams - y/n - if y, which game do they come into effect?
Same for tier 2?
Or some other system?

Note: no wholesale changes - TV115, 6 skills chosen before game 1, 2 & 5 doubles all stay.

I would keep all (ie including Khemri) rules as per Crp, so would put chef to 100K and keep goblin bribes at 50K.

An extra skill for the shittier teams is a good idea, imo should come in game 1. Maybe 2 extra skills for tier 3 and 1 extra for tier 2?

Agreed. Teams like Humans/Chaos/Slann need an extra skill as much as the Goblins etc. I would have 1/2 skills for tier 2/3 teams from game one. That way they have a little advantage from the start (which is where they struggle).

Glad to hear (read) no wholesale changes. I'd vote all CRP.

About the extra tier 2/3 skills - quite a few tourneys seem to be going that way recently - i don't really have a preference.

But can it be any weekend other than the 5th of March (my boy's birthday)?

Cheers,
