Anyone got a spare seat in a car from Manchester area.

Need to visit the rentals for Easter and looking at options for getting up.

Hi Guys

I'm looking for some travel advice from the North East locals.

I'll be coming down the A1 on Friday afternoon/evening. Probably looking to arrive about 6.30ish. What's the best way to go when I hit Newcastle - route finder takes me down A19 past Jarrow but not sure how busy that will be.

Would I be better sticking to the A1 through Durham & cutting across to the coast at some later point?

A19 is just as bad as the A1 past the Metrocentre and Team Valley, basically six and two threes. I'm coming down the A19 if it helps?

if u hit the A1 at the metrocentre any time between 4 and 6pm your looking at about an hour to clear the traffic.

The Felling bypass is just as bad, so basically your doomed.

Texted Das Pippy last night to confirm I'm coming too, a fresh waterbowl virgin. And my arse is still stinging from the kicking I got at Dungeonbowl so I've got a score to settle.

Quick q: for the bonus point for not using re-rolls, would a leader re-roll count? Some examples

1) he ends the game on the pitch having not used his RR
2) he is off the pitch (reserves) but still has Leader RR available at the end of the game
3) he was KO'd or hurt but still has his RR

Not that I'm basing my whole strategy around getting a leader for the extra point ;)
