Spiky: DW's totally unofficial NAF rankings.

Post by Deathwing »

OK, this are completely unofficial numbers that I worked out for my own interest and figured you guys might like to see. It's based on a starting CR of 150, with the k value at 14. The CR has been adjusted by round.
Now this may well be not 100% accurate, it's late, I'm tired. I'll correct any errors if there's any obvious screwups. So start at 150, and you should be looking at around +6.5 to 7.5 a win, -6.5 to 7.5 a loss, minimal change for a draw, against NAF coaches. If there's any glaring inconsistencies, let me know.
Please bear in mind these are just posted for interest based on my dodgy maths! :)
And I've resisted the temptation to name and shame certain board members who obviously have difficulty with simple forms!

By race:

And of course you can add me to the list:

Darkson (Undead) 150

Seeing as my game against ace2k00 was a draw and he's got no ranking points either.

Better retire the undead now.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Actually, as Dave had already lost to Del, his ranking was 143. Yours being 150 means your ranking drops to 149.63, and Dave rises slightly to 143.37....

Didn't actually get a NAF results sheet handed in for ace2k00. There's always one!
So ace2k00 (woodies?) drew v. Darkson (undead?) in round 4 or 5?
Dave, was your other game against NAF opposition, if so, who and which round? I'll adjust it when I get the info...

Hmm interesting figures, glad to see me up there at number 3! Do we have to wait for notification before we can start playing NAF rated games against NAF coaches. Any idea how long it'll be before it gets off the ground properly. Don't want to be picky but the middle L has vanished from my surname on the list, everyone leaves it out! It should be Thirlwell.

Cheers

Geoff

Wait until the ranking system is up and running officially, so yes, a little more patience. Thanks for the heads up on the spelling, I'll edit it accordingly.

For my undead i took:

2 Mummies
2 Wights (only have 2 painted or might have taken more)
3 Ghouls
3 Zombies
2 Skeletons
8 FF
4 RR

Bear in mind we were allowed 1,100,000 to spend instead of the normal 1,000,000

Could have dropped a RR and a Skeleton and taken FF 9 and an extra Wight instead. The extra RR turned out useful though

Looks like i'm 7th but i took

2 mummies
4 wights
3 Ghouls
2 Zombies
Re-rolls 3
FF6

Went for skills rather than team depth, worked quite well as i took block at every opportunity on Mummies and Ghouls for protection and regenerate kept most of my injuries on the pitch. Main let down was the lack of casualties caused. for a grand total 4 of the games i only got 2 in total casualties ( Riot didnt help ), while in the two others i got 3 in each ( Against Dwarves ) For a total of 8 casualties.

in reflection probably drop a wight for more players and FF next time

Tut tut! If you had stuck the boot in you'd have probably bumped Marcus out of the semis.....
And are there any better Dirty Players than 30K ones? :o
