Post by jullevi »

Hello all!

We are currently in the middle of a small 4-player BloodBowl tournament/league (our first ever) and I thought of posting our results after first stage, now that all teams have played three games (once against each team).

The teams involved are:

Undead team (I'm playing these)
Human team
Dwarf team (using chaos dwarf models though)
Chaos team

(i won't post the names of the teams nor some of the players because they are on Finnish and I can't translate all the names into English)

Round one:

Human vs. Dwarves 3-0, casualties caused 1-3
Undead vs. Chaos 2-0, casualties caused 7-0 (including 3 dead beastman)
---
Round two:

Dwarves vs. Chaos 3-0, casualties caused 1-1
Human vs. Undead 0-2, casualties caused 0-3

Round three:

Human vs. Chaos 2-1, casualties caused 0-2

-casualties 5-9

Chaos:

-casualties 3-8

Star Player Points Top 3 (after 3 games):

1. Alfa Romeo 28 (ghoul, undead)

---

---

Casualties Top 3 (after 3 games):

Well, personally can't see a reason why league and small tournament reports couldn't be posted to this forum. They won't be as popular threads as the big tournaments, but who cares?

Or what forum do you think would suit this better, Longshot? No other, IMO - so are you implying that leagues and small tournaments couldn't post their results here?

That Chaos team is taking a beating. Is that mostly because of the really bad start?

And how is the undead team causing so many casualties? Good play, good luck or what?

I see no reason for not posting small tournament results here as well. It just adds to the wealth of player input.

Must admit I envisage it more as an events forum rather than somewhere to report about house leagues. Of course the 4 vanilla trophies are referred to as tournaments in the book(s), but they're essentially leagues, which are a very different thing to tournaments as in 'tournament play' or 'the tournament scene'. Probably better off in 'General' IMO.

Well, to me a Tournaments forum suits as well for the smaller events and leagues too. The big events are going to be "sticky" anyhow, so the smaller ones won't be ruining your ease of navigation.
And I have hard time imagining why they'd be better in general chat. Suits a lot better to tournaments.
