Cheers for organising the tournament Pete, I had a great time and was cool to meet a few more WILers and people i've seen posting on here.

Everything went really smootly and it's astounding how GW need so long between each round at the GT. Ok they have more players but it shouldn't be that hard to sort out.

I had a brief chat with Stick about his prize and it sound like a really interesting project. He's going to send me some models and more details in a PM but I'll be sure to post progress shots here and in my FUMBBL blog.

Would like to add my praises to PeteW for such a wonderful weekend

went for a laugh and hard fight, and was amazed at ppls faces when they saw what I had !!!

Just wanted to add my thanks to all for a great weekend, 6 really sporting opponents & 6 different races played. Special mention to Spubbbba for telling me i had a re-roll when i thought id used it! also to nickolaus for not getting stressed when i stalled out against his dwarves, aiding him in successful quest for the wooden spoon!

@ Jimjimany.....Your almost definately right about Edril, however Ithaca was so much more fun....

And of course Pete and everyone who had worked so hard to put together a great tournament and a fun weekend

We had 18 different races (only missing zons, undead, vamps, ogres, khemri and lizzies), and a massive 23 different stars appearing.

Overall I feel that the tiers were okay, although I would appreciate feedback for the future!

I think the tiers were spot on. It must have been tricky since this kind of tournament hasn’t been done before, and the access to cheap star players gives some teams an edge over some of the other teams that normally struggle to get a decent team at TV110 and now have to buy someone really expensive too.

I can't say that I felt hopelessly outclassed at any point during the weekend, even with my pick of Underworld.
(Well, apart from when I played Brendan, but I'm sure that was down to coaching, and nothing to do with tiers)

Oh yeah, I also had to face Morg in my last game, who I failed to knock down once, but lemf then won cheesiest team award for picking him, so I feel vindicated
