Welcome to the forum, hopefully your tournament will generate some more interest from welsh players

Good luck with it and hope it goes well, the Blood Bowl doesn't use a particularly great ruleset but you aren't the first to copy it thinking they know what they are doing.

Is there a cap on number of participants?

I expect this will cause some questions. GW figs only, does this mean?

Doesn't the NAF organise the BB GT now?

Nope (not due to lack of offers either).

I will talk with the GW shop manager regarding non GW models, as its a club run thing, generally we are ok for what we like.

as for a cap on participants we are looking at 20 coaches, although if we hit 20 with intrest i can re evaluate the space, but we would need players to bring game boards to help out, as we have 5 with 5 on order.

my reasoning to the torney being run like the GT is so it is a good warm up to those thinking of going to the GT. Same rules just a smaller scale

Thanks for the welcome, and hope the first of many goes well.

Ok basicly you pick you team from the most uptodate rules. Competion rules to the value of 1 million. you will be randomly drawn into your first game, after game 1 game 2 works on the top teams paly each other, and so on so should you win you plan another winner. after game 1 you can choose any one skill to give to any player as if you rolled a standard roll. no doubles or stat upgrades. and we follow that format untill end of game 5, on game 6 the two best place teams play in the finals stadium we have build to decide the cup winner, our league champion is the player who finished with the most points not including the cup champion.

hope this helps a little, if it helps i can always post the tourney pack on here?

tickets are £10 and we have 20 places up for grabs

Hi Hawca,

Im coming so look forward to it. I dont have a cheque book, so Im pretty much set on paying on the day, but obviously if its booked out, ill work something out. I would get a pay pal account set up, to be honest, as it would probably take the back ache out of it for you. Look forward to seeing you there.
