As i remember you could not score against us then either and we had to do it ourselves.....
sorry what happened in May 09, short term memory loss...
think Shearer was there but can't remember what else happened!

I'll be proudly wearing my 1982 Rotterdam Replica Shirts all weekend.
bit more recent than the Inter Cities Fairs Cup...

Stan, going to be fun staying with ya mate! :D

PS: glad Carroll got a hat trick for you, if he can keep his head, he'll be a worthy Number 9 for you!
thank god the cornroes have gone!

The Don is assembling the trophy as we speak. I'll be painting it this weekend.

Bring out your best for Geordie Bowl. The painting prize is going to be the bee's knees!

Pippy's right, this isn't your run of the mill, standard gold trophy with a nice engraved base. This is something completely original, creative, and generally awesome! I won't ruin the surprise, but seriously, you WANT to win this!!!

UPDATES!

Lots of things in place now, we're looking good to beat last years 22 coaches which is great news. If you're still thinking about it we have space left and paying on the day is fine.

STUNTY CUP...

...is definately on! And it's looking like a scary as hell competition! Unconfirmed so far, but rumour has it the toughest ever Stunty Cup will be fought out between Podfrey, Jeeves, Pippy and last years champion, Geggster! There is the traditional Mug up for grabs which arrived today and looks lovely, so bring your stunty teams if you dare!!!

TALKING OF GEGGSTER...

...there could well be a special prize for the first person who beats our reigning champion! Now, this prize was conceived before we knew he was bringing Flings, but anyone expecting a pushover I've had texts from him planning more sneakiness than one of Baldrick's super sneaky plans! More details on the day, but believe me, you want this prize!

ANYONE HUNGRY?

Yes, of course you are! I've seen the typical Bloodbowler eat, I know the craic! So I've booked the same restaurant from last year (It's next door), sitting down for 7 o'clock. Enough time to finish up game three, raid the bar for the buzzer game, and get back into town for a good booze up afterwards! No need to confirm attendance here, I'm finalising numbers on the day and bringing menus in for everyone to pre-order so we get our grub nice and quickly!

BUZZER GAME?

Hell yeah! Whoever wasn't there last year will love next doors drinks promotion. Buy a round, press a button, get drinks for free!* Well, thats how I remember it, that and a table full of Corona! \o/
*Don_Vito can’t guarantee free every time, but can guarantee you’ll be pretty wasted by the end of the night!

PRIZES!

No, free drink isn’t the only prize available! We have a fully painted Lizardman team complete with snazzy display board available to our winner this year. (Cue ooh’s and aaah’s!) Second and Third prizes are an assortment of our sponsor RollJordan miniatures, and spot prizes are happening throughout! Chuck in trophies for places, most TD’s and CAS, the Geordie Hunter special prize and a free gift for everyone turning up you can’t go wrong!

*Phew*

Any questions?

Hurrah!

I'm excited. :D

Oh (edit), long shot of longshotness, will 'next door' / nearby bar happen to be showing the Rugby Sunday afternoon if I get beat early? Season kick off!

No concrete plans yet, but I'm expecting to be in town near the station to greet who needs to be greeted and get drunk so I have an excuse for turning up late to my own tournament... again.

It's tradition now! Someone else will set it up I'm sure!
