So, here is a points table as if the whole event had been swiss. Remember that the pairings werent done as swiss so good players were paired against not so good players quite alot leading to a bias.

edit: League due to putting Munson above Mattwhile ;)

I think I prefer the KO results that put me in the top 8, rather than the Swiss pairings that put me 17th
Especially since those Swiss pairings somehow have me down with 2 wins, when my actual record was 1-4-2 :(

I think that your spreadsheet is a bit off. Much as I would have loved to have gotten a 2/2/4 record with my Gremflings, the reality was 0/1/6. :-?

Im making a lot of changes on the fly now to get the data people want, I will take another look at it though.

EDIT: Spotted the problem, when I copied the new formulas down the spread sheet I set it so everyone was in Group A which obviously isnt true ;)

Thanks to Lee and everyone involved for running a great tournament. The KO rounds really do add something different. Thanks to all my opponents, especially Joe and Stick for 2 of the most gruelling matches I have ever played.

I think the picture of Don Vito in the paper is great and it keeps making me laugh every time I look at it

I know it looks like Joe was top in the league but he did lose another game really  :D (I for one thought the penalty system was great)

For anyone who has a suggestion of a new penalties system, please take a look at viewtopic.php?f=16&t=33351

Not quite as good as Don_Vito's but more photos from a different local paper. All can be bought (If you want a photo of Pug on a T-Shirt ;)) from http://www.photostoday.co.uk/Gallery.as ... ryID=34825

I like the one of Don trying to fit an entire sandwich into his mouth in one go. Genius.

Whilst Stan is moving away so fast (assuming that he is next to be destined for the maw of the big man) that he is blurred!
