Quit your job, Food, I find it helpful for this sort of thing. ;)

All the best this weekend, men, I will see any survivors soon. Remember to tweet, I'll follow it between bands. :D

Yep, shame you couldn't make it Foodster...

I don't tweet, but I'll keep my phone logged in to this page and attempt some rambled espresso-fuelled observations...

Rest assured there will be tweeting, Phil :D I might need you to send for help when someone goes postal at 3:30 after some horseshit play... ;)

@Kfoged - Sorry, you can't make it :( On the plus side, it won't be your retinas bleeding on sunday lunchtime after 11 straight games of BB pain ;)

My excuses are being presented early. Lucas has been teething and had 3 nights of no sleep, so far this week. He has his jabs tomorrow, so not expecting to get much more sleep before Saturday!

Altogether now... Wwwwwaaaaahhhh!

Is there an official ruling on what happens should someone have to forfeit a game due to tiredness/other excuse?

Did this come up at previous 24 hour events? Anyone in the know? Hudson / Jeeves / Lycos?

If that’s a euphemism, I want no pictures.

Re the falling asleep question, we found in the last 24hr that you just keep going, it was never an issue. There were at least 20 of us last time and no one seemed to be falling asleep at any time. This is where the 2hrs per game becomes important. You are always playing fairly quickly and then move from one game to the next.

The "danger" moments are the breaks. If you allow a full hour and you eat.... sit down... then all of a sudden a kip feels very natural. I went for a walk in to town! Seriously, you need to keep going, constantly being active and... well we never seemed to be tired last time.

Dave Downes doesn’t understand 'tired'. He just powers down occasionally so as to not alert Skynet he’s escaped.
