AusBowl Tournament

Post by DoubleSkulls »

AusBowl is the leading team tournament in the Asia Pacific region. The first tournament was a fantastic success with representation from 6 Australian regions - congratulations to ACT our inaugural champions. We have already started preparing for the 2nd AusBowl and would love for you to be involved.

The AusBowl is a team tournament where groups of 6, representing a region, go head to head against other teams - much like the NAF World Cup or EuroBowl. There is also a Open competition for those not in a team to participate. South Australia will be hosting the 2nd AusBowl in March 2013 - so there is plenty of time to get organised. We really want to maximise the participation of the community and region in the tournament, so are already allowing teams from New Zealand and even further abroad to join in the fun and take part in a great event in our region. If you belong to a region or country that isn't represented we are very interested in hearing from you - whether you'd like to join a "Barbarians" team or bring your own team along too. We are always on the look out for more regional representatives too, so if you'd like to represent one of the existing regions or a new one please let us know.

Some of the regions are even about to embark on elections for their representatives so now is a great time to get involved.

If you would like to find out more, help participate in the discussion on tournament details, team selection, qualification and everything else we can think of then please head over to AusBowl.

Alternatively contact the team captain for your region directly
