I'd love to show you guys how to take those 3 stop corners, but I have a big audit coming up at work and a ton of things to do for it. I tried to talk my boss into sending me to Oakville this weekend; He however did not buy it. I am recruiting some locals to come to Orion with me. I have one solid yes, and about half a dozen maybe's; If this shakes down to me and three others I will be very happy. With the re-release of bloodbowl everyone in Findlay is playing again. My black block dice are the envy of the entire league and everyone here is awaiting the NAF website to come online. I am now 2-2 with my Halfling team and lovin' every minute of it. Hope to see you at Orion after the spring thaw.

Slow!?!? Its only the next day! LOL!

TBBFer Kevin Hutson took it all with his Chaos Dwarfs (!!!), beating John Lewis in the battle of the 3-0 records. Other than that, I dunno the final standings, I can only tell you what I did with my Skaven, the Foul Peak Cripplers.

Game #1: FPC vs. Dennis Clapham's Grissenwald Grinders (Dwarf)
- Loss, 2-3 in O/T

Game #2: FPC vs. George Hewitt's unremembered name Chaos team
- Win, 4-1

Game #3: FPC vs. Anthony Watts' Fester Spike Assassins (Skaven)
- Loss, 2-3 O/T

Game #4: FPC vs. Jon Schmidt's Deadites (Undead)
- Win, 5-0

So I finished off at 2 and 2. Not good, not bad, both losses coming in overtime. I took a 2-0 lead on Dennis' Dwarfs, but he marched down the field unhindered to tie it when I had only 4 rats left on the pitch, then my Rat Ogre messed up and cost me the game in overtime. Anthony played a solid game, taking advantage of my stupid mistakes, and breaking my cages with his gutter runner who was randomly blessed by the Chaos gods with a leap skill for the game. My game against Jon's Undead was hilarious, with me winning 5-0, and beating him in casualties 10-1! Jon's dice rolling got worse the more he got outnumbered on the pitch, though his regeneration rolls were pretty good. He had 2 skeletons on his team, and I injured them 4 times!

All in all, a good tourney, good opposition, and a good convention! I had a blast! Congrats to Kevin, who beat the odds with a team no one thought had a chance! :D

Twist, our game didn't go to OT, I kicked your ass in regulation time :)

Quick summary of my games (I tried out a Skaven team this time just for fun):

1) vs. The Deadites (Undead) - I think it was 2-1 for the Undead. Jon's evil dice left my team in tatters.

2) vs. ? (Orcs) - See Skaven Run. See Skaven take the ball and score. Score Skaven Score! 3-1 win.

3) vs. Foul Peak Cripplers (Skaven) - Hot Skaven on Skaven action! I teach Twist how rats are played! Having a Gutter Runner with Leap messes up his day. 3-1 win.

4) vs. Salad Slayers (Chaos) - Despite causing 5 casualties and only one against, I can't pick up the damn ball to save my life! So much for AG4. 2-1 loss.

This was my first time playing Skaven, they are wicked fun! I think I will play them in the TBBF later on in the season.

Congrats to our very own Kevin Hutson and his Chaos Dwarves who kept yet another BB trophy up in Canada where it belongs!! :)

Big up Canadian NAF Tournament Organizer Ian Dundas as well who hosted a very fine tournament.

See you all soon at the Orion Cup, more info coming soon.

Great tournament. Well organized and well attended. Every coach there was top notch and the games were all amazingly well played.

I got second place (like I always do in Canada). Every Canadian there we rooting for my opponent. What can I do against such negative Karma??

At least this time I didn't lose to SNOTLINGS.

Special thanks to Ian on a great tournament.
