Since I could not afford to go to the BB tourney in England, I will plan to go to one here in Canada (ie Toronto, since that is the only place BB tourneys are held in this country )

I guess I am presuming that Games Day Canada does have a BB tourney (as well as all the WH stuff). or am I wrong? If someone knows for sure (Anthony), please let me know, then I can plan to attend the Orion Cup if need be.

At Games Day we run demos for newbies instead of a tournament. We also run the Pandemonium Cup (January) and the Orion Cup (April). If you want to run one in your area let me know and I can hook you up with the Canadian NAF Tournament guy to help you out.

That's not true. The Death Bowl is held in Montreal, this year being it's first year though. It will be held in late June. I realise that MTL is a bit further away than TO but think of all the bonuses of coming to MTL. The authentic poutine for example

When would you have more specific dates? I have to book holidays for next year in mid Jan.

Hmmm, have to choose between Montreal and TO, been to MTL a coupld of times many years ago and never been to TO, so hard to judge. I'm presuming alot of the same people will be at both tourneys.

The Orion Cup is at the Orion Convention in Toronto every year. Last year it was in April. Their website now says March 2002. I guess they forgot to change the date to 2003. Apparently the earlier date is because of the change in location.

The Orion con has merged with a local sci-fi con this year, so it is a bit earlier and will be sometime in late March.
