Just got back to mine after another mare on the M5.

Huge thanks to Liam & co for organising and running the tourney.
Despite my string of losses on Day 1, Day 2 was a complete turnaround with three wins.

Don't know how far that managed to propel me upwards, but I'm very grateful to the dice rolling of angryhobbit, someblokecalledtom and val, without whom I would be languishing around dead last.

Good to see you all again, and looking forward to Auld Masters and maybe even Thrud.

Excellent tournament - liked the venue (first time ever in a tournament I havent had to fight over table space for benches). Thanks to the organisers, staff and ofc my opponents. Definitely one to add to the "must do again" list

That aside, thanks to the organisers for putting on a great event as ever. Surprised at getting the wooden spoon as my record was better than last year - but at least I walked(staggered) away with a reminder of a good weekend.
