Auld World Masters *Won by Itchen*

Cornishwoon and myself are both relatively new to the tournament scene but decided that we would quite like to run one ourselves. We put our heads together and came up with the Auld World Masters. As it is a little ‘unusual’ we want to road test a mini version of it first and so we intend to hold a small 12 man tournament at my house (inspired as it were by Sann and his Birthday Bowl). We’re aiming for 12 but may consider fitting in more if demand requires it. If it proves to be popular by whoever attends we will run a larger version next year.
This is a 4 game / one day regression tournament at a mighty cost of £6 per head which will cover a bacon sandwich for breakfast (or vegetarian friendly option), something (as of yet unknown) for lunch, drinks throughout the day and very small prizes for the odd winner! Location – Tewkesbury in north Gloucestershire. My home is 5 minutes from the motorway (J9 off the M5) and the nearest train station is Ashchurch (we can probably arrange pick up from there if required).
I will apply for NAF approval.
Timetable
9:00 – 9:30 Arrive, put the kettle on, size up opponent, general banter
9:30 - 11:30 Game 1
12:00 - 14:00 Game 2
14:30 - 16:30 Game 3
17:00 - 19:00 Game 4
19:00 – 19:15 Wrap up and awards
The first match ups will be decided by a random draw but after that we will use the swiss format system. All injuries and deaths picked up during a game are removed for the next match. This is not true though of injuries assigned between games . . . . read on for more detail. Any Zombies or Rotters produced from kills will not be kept between games.
We are a little short on boards and dugouts . . . . in that we only have a couple . . . so please can everyone bring one or we will be in a little bother!
