We're discussing these exact things tonight, I'll get some directions for parking sorted and posted by the morning. We'll try to sort a sign for outside too.
Off the top of my head there is parking at the Leas Cliff Hall that is 15 mins walk away and £4 for the day http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carp ... olkestone/, there are also a fair few roads near East Kent College that are free but slightly longer to walk http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/carp ... olkestone/ scoll down to folkestone campus and look for kingsnorth gardens and road next to it.
I'll PM you my mobile number just in case and if anyone else is worried and wants a contact number PM me and can have mine.

EDIT - I just did a bit more digging and the multi storey right near us is £3.50 all day according to parkopedia (prices subject to change!) and is only just up the road a bit, basically cross the main road at lights and wander down and round the corner to us.
