German Team Bowl 2015, 05.+06. September 2015, Remscheid

INTRODUCTION

Within this September we are proudly to announce the 2nd German Team Bowl (GTB). This team event will be a fix part of the German tournaments mainly set before the big team events (e.g. Eurobowl/World Cup). As the title mainly pronounces we also invite every interested coach outside Germany. To be eligible for this team event you need two more coaches to form up a team of 3. There is no limitation to your local league or to your federal state to form your team so this means that even 3 individual players are eligible to take part as a performing team.

For this year ruleset we use the same rules as they will be used at the WorldCup III in Italy. So this will be a good chance to find out how good your performance as a team will be before you enter the World Cup.



TEAM CONSTELLATION

• Your Team consists of 3 coaches. Gladly we encourage you to form your team out of your league or within your federal state. As mentioned above this is not mandatory and mixed teams or players outside Germany are more than welcome.

• Important note: After round 6 the title „German Team Bowl“ Champion will be hand over to the best team.

• All 24 teams of the CRB are permitted. Please note that your team must choose 3 different races!

In case you can’t find one or two team members to form your team please contact us. We will look for the additional players so that you can take part. For this case we prepare a list of individual attendees to form up team per 3.

APPLICATION & DEADLINE

Deadline for registration will be August 30th 2015. Please note to complete all 4 points below within your registration:

1. Transfer tournament money of 15 Euro/pp. The data of bank details will be written in the replay to your email registry. We appreciate transfers for the whole team done by the team captain.

2. Send the team rosters in advance done through the team captain. Within the roster you have to number each player in the race and also name all skills with numbers behind them for game 1, 3, 5 (more details see below).

3. Announce your Team Name and your Team Captain. In case that you register as an individual player you will recieve two additional players out of the list of individual registrations.

4. Date of arrival (Friday or Saturday). This helps us to plan the social activities during the evenings (see below).

Beverages and food will be available for reasonable prices at the venue. Food and drinks won’t be included in the tournament fee.

PLANNING DURING THE EVENINGS

For Saturday evening we plan a dinner for all interests. Please tell us within your registration if you plan to go. At the moment we plan to go to Restaurant Trattoria Mamma Rita! Costs for food and drinks won’t be included in the tournament fee!



PARKING

There are several opportunities for parking your car at the CVJM. You enter the parking area from „Lindenallee“ The entry will be between a car dealer and a video store “World-of-Video” (Lindenallee 2, 42899 Remscheid).



TOURNAMENT RULES

The ruleset of the GTB will be based on the WorldCup III ruleset.

The rules include the ruleset of Competition rule pack (CRP) incl. the 3 additional teams (Slann, Underworld, Chaos Pact) - Important: free download: http://www.thenaf.net/blood-bowl/rules/ !

• Each race may be chosen not more than one per tournament team.

• Each race has startup money of 1.100.000 gp (TR 110) sein. Please note that your team has to consist of at least 11 players.

• Inducements are not permitted. EXCEPTION: Teams from rank 3 may hire bribes, halfling chef and starplayers for prices listed at the CRP.

• For the tournament you are allowed to choose additional skills. The amount of skills and time for use are listed at the tables below:

Tier 1 - Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dark Elf, Dwarf, Lizardman, Norse, Orc, Skaven, Undead, Wood Elf
Tier 2 - Chaos, Chaos Pact, Elf, High Elf, Human, Khemri, Necromantic, Nurgle, Slann
Tier 3 - Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Underworld, Vampire

• Before the tournament begins you may choose skills for games 1+2, 3+4 and 5+6 according to the tiers listed below. The skills should be written on your team sheet before round 1 is announced:

Game 1+2:

Tier 1 - 3 Skills (regular skills)
Tier 2 - 4 regular Skills + 1 „Double“Skill
Tier 3 - 4 regular Skills + 1 „Double“Skills

Game 3+4:

Tier 1 - 1 regular Skill + 1 “Double”Skill
Tier 2 - 1 regular Skill + 1 “Double”Skill
Tier 3 - 1 regular Skill + 1 “Double”Skill

Game 5+6:

Tier 1 - 2 regular Skill OR 1 “Double”Skill OR 1 regular Skill on a player who has just one regular skill
Tier 2 - 2 regular Skill OR 1 “Double”Skill OR 1 regular Skill on a player who has just one skill
Tier 3 - 2 regular Skill OR 1 “Double”Skill OR 1 regular Skill on a player who has just one skill

Regular= skills the player could choose on a skill roll due to his skill availability on a general roll (no doubles no stat increases)


Following limitations will take place:

• No player may recieve more than 1 additional skill with exception at the rules for game 5+6
• No skills may be placed on starplayers.


Please note:

• All skills have to be declared at your team roster (and one copy of it) before the tournament starts. The skills as the choice for game 1, 3, 5 have to be clearly distinguishable.

• Skills have to be noted with English terms to avoid misunderstandings. For the case of unclarity please contact the tournament committee in advance!

• Team rosters have to be presented with 2 copies. We ask the team captains to send the rosters of the whole team by mail in advance so that we can check them and to save time at the Saturday morning.

Additional notifications:

• 12+ man on the pitch: In case there will be more than 11 players on the pitch and the kickoff event has occured the following consequences will happen: Randomly the additional players will be chosen by a d16 and the player will be removed from the pitch into the reserve box. In case this will happen in the offence of a team that team suffers a turnover.

• Raise-the-Death: Coaches of Undead and Necromantic teams may raise the dead according to CRP rules. That zombie will stay during this match and leave the team right after.

• Casualties: Only Block CAS will count (also by Ball&Chain). All other Cas. By kick-off, crowd pushed, secret weapons&fouls or failed GFI won’t count.

• Overtime: No overtime rule will take place. If after 16 rounds the result is a draw it will also end in this result.

• End up by referee: We kindly remind you to end up the games due the time schedule above. In case your game is not finished in time where won’t be a possibility to finished it with extra time. In that case the referee will end the game after the actual turn of the active coach.

It is your duty to keep up sportsmanship and run into a smooth tournament. So please look for a strict time schedule and fairness of your game as for your opponent. In case of misunderstandings don’t hesistate to call for the referee.



TOURNAMENT PROCEDURE

You and your team take part in a series of 6 games. Paarings will be determined by the swiss systems except round 1 as it will be a random draw.

You and your team will be seated on numbered tables according to your tournament rank. Please show up in time and start the games right after the drawings would have been pronounced. In case you miss your opponent don’t hesitate to contact the tournament staff. We would right looks for your opponent. In case the opponent didn’t show up within 30 minutes after start of the round you receive an automatically win.

After each match please write down together the score cards with final standings per touchdowns and casualties of your and the opposing team.

We use the following score system for the team event:

Victory (for each player) - 1 point
Draw (for each player) - 0,5 point
Loss (for each player) - 0 point
Tiebreaker – Net TD + Net CAS

Additionally there will be an individual ranking with the following system

Victory - 3 points
Draw - 1 points
Loss - 0 point
Tiebreaker – Net TD + Net CAS



AWARDS

We plan to distribute the following prices:

Team - Champion, Runner Up, Wooden Spoon

Individual players - Champion, Best Stunty, Most TD, Most CAS

The best individual player will receive a NAF-Trophy!

Additionally all players will receive a set of GTB-Dices (set of 2 dices). Furthermore we plan more prices during each round.



WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU FOR THE WEEKEND

• Your Team. All models should be painted and converted miniatures should be easily recognized for their position in the team. Models may be used from different companies and different game systems. If it is difficult to recognize the model for its position please use a base ring to ease the situation for your opponent.

• 2 copies of your team sheet, dices , a copy of the CRP and Tiere rulers.

Pitches, dugouts will be ready for you at the venue.



FAIR PLAY

We plan the team event under the motto „Bloodbowl & Friends“. Therefore we call for fair play and a friendly mood. The 4 minute rule is not used in the tournament setting and we please you to play without delay. In case of discrepancy between two coaches you like to call the organizers and we try to find a solution.

In case of a unsporting manner (e.g. accusation, obvious delay of the game…) the organizers will have the right to call several penalties (loss of tournament points, termination of the game, exclusion from the tournament)!
