Dungeon Cup Germany 2017 - A full Dungeon Bowl Tournament
Posted: Tue May 12, 2015 8:14 am
Currently in the planning phase are two german Dungeon Bowl Tournaments using the Adelaide Dungeon Bowl Cup rules.
This Thread is to gather players up front who would be interested and get some input.
As we want to get at least 10 Players for our first Tournament.
Also the Tournament in November will be a test if the final Round of THE DUNGEONBOWL Major Tournament will use the Adelaide rules. The final Dungeon of THE DUNGEONBOWL will stay as it is. Also the rest of the Tournament will stay as it is.

Tournaments will be one in winter, one in February 2016 in Braunschweig (central germany). More infos when the dates are set.
Basic informations:
Over the last five years in Adelaide the Afoul League runs the Adelaide Dungeon Bowl Tournament. Using their own Dungeon Bowl rules. The original Rules werent altered, they are a complete new approach. And in my oppinion they look quite good.
Quick rule summary:
Transporter Rules have been changed, lost-in-warp turns into knock out, push on transporter doesn't lead to injury, jumping with the ball on a transporter leads at 4+ to the ball transporting the ball into another destination than the holding player.
Knockouts revive on 6+, All players tested per turn until one wakes up, then revive phase stops.
Reserves can enter play through transporters or from the doors. Blitzing if needed.
Crowdpushes turned into stab-wall-pushes
Pass rules are: no flipping of the wall passes, Long Pass, Long Bomb possible
The dungeon is a modular one, with one of 11 random dungeons chosen directly before the Round. One game last at most 50 Minutes, and several TDs are possible. Time and Score will be determined to end a game. Complete annihilation of opponent leads to victory. 5 Games per day are easily possible.
550.00 gc for Team building, official teams to choose from the CRP. 6 Players minimum. No ReRolls and a set of Special Play Cards for 10.000 gc each to spend odd sums.
Special Play Cards since three years in playtesting and now balanced.
Tournament will stand on the NAF Page, but if the games will be ranked will be decided by the NAF variant committee in November.
Dungeons are currently under construction by DoccMaxx, Jonny_Kanone and me.
Example Dungeon
If there is interest by any player we could provide you with casted rooms for your own Dungeon. But only after we have finished our minimum number of Dungeons.
-------------------------------------
So most of the above will be used as written.
What we now need is information if someone would be willing to show up and how we could implement Skill distribution as these weren't tested in Adelaide, but they would be fun. And it gives the players some way of customization.
As the tournament will most likely be a five round one day event. Skill distribution should be planned for five games.
Also if you would like a one day five Game tourney or a two day 10 games tourney.
