Jty

Could you not become the blood bowl community overlord of judging best painted? It would give us minions a chance to get some points in this!

(or can I just get a few lessons....)

If anyone should ask me to judge Best Painted at a tourney I'm going to, I would say 'yes'.

Surely to win best painted points you have to have painted the team yourself??

But even if we blindfold jty and make him paint with the opposite hand he would still win...

Echo an earlier post, poor show on no love for the east.
I will only make one classic a year (NAFC) whilst I will hopefully still clock in a respectable 9-10 tournaments this year, and most of these will be central / east.

Consider this post noted in my book.

(And that book has noted an awful lot of things that now exist that many now take as standard)

The way I understand it is that the wild card tournament will change each year to spread the love!

Hi Myrmedon - as I was saying to Sandwich, I tried to pick the larger tournaments as the Classics i.e. 30+ entrants year on year. Although I did also want to include a geographical balance e.g. with the inclusion of Burger as a slightly smaller Scottish event.

It would have been nice to have tourneys like STABB, Pearlies, Boudicca, RIOTS etc. in the mix but I felt there were others which had achieved a more consistent attendance in the south in general. Sorry you feel underrepresented by this.

I’d say there’s a strong case for a South Eastern event being next year’s wildcard. I will ask the UK Tournament Coordinators to make that call again.

And it’s worth bearing in mind that if you do attend a chunk of events in the east you can still do well in the scoring. A good score at a Classic could easily be beaten by two or three good scores at regular NAF tournaments.

Scores updated! Hawk and Landrover are the early contenders for the trophy (see post #2)...

(edited to what now hopefully makes more sense)

Is it worth back dating this to the start of the year so you have a Golden Gauntlet for all of 2015? I am in no way bias when I say this . . . . but it would then mean I get points for probably the only tournament I will ever win! :)

:) The idea is that the 'season' runs from June to May, with the winner announced at NAFC next year.

You're already on the leaderboard. Keep the faith!
