Tournament Rules

The Players
All the players that attend the Tournament are expected to conduct themselves appropriately throughout the tournament. That includes playing the game in the right spirit, making sure they have everything they need (dice, templates, clear team rosters and their team!) and in general contributing to a friendly environment where everyone can enjoy both their games and the time spent in between rounds with their peers. The tournament organizers will do their best to ensure that the tournament runs smoothly and everything is provided to enable the players to get as much enjoyment as possible from the event, and likewise the players should do their utmost to hold up their end of the bargain. Most important of all, enjoy yourself!

The Officials
The officials for the tournament are 100% committed to ensuring that your Pouring Rain Open experience is the best it can possibly be. Our job is to make sure everything runs smoothly and that you can concentrate solely on your task at hand and that is to play the best you can for 2 days against likeminded people that share your love of the Bloodbowl hobby. We would like to state we are looking forward to the event as much as the players and pledge to do our best to run the event as smoothly and professionally as possible.

TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

22 eager coaches turned up and seemed to have a good time.

Once again many thanks to our travelling guests, especially the Swedes who really did give the tournament the boost it needed. They took home 1st and 2nd place as well, delivering some very fine blood bowl.

I had a good time and would consider 22 coaches for a first time tournament a success. The town felt nice and it was easy (and pretty cheap) getting there and home again.

Time and funds permitting I would be happy to return next year.

It's also good that it seems like the scene in Norway is growing. A EuroBowl team last year, first NAF tournament this year... Seems like good things are coming. :)

Thanks for the kinds words and thanks for coming!

I would add: The BB scene in Norway (Bergen particularly) is actually rather old (since back in the "good(?)" old 3rd edition). What is new is that we discovered NAF and the rest of the world!

And guess what: For that we have Cyanide and BB1 to thank for. So something you might not hear a lot on these (or any other) forum,: Yay for Cyanide ;-)
