What is the best hotel locally and travel from london?

The venue is a hotel and I've seen rooms for around £55 pppn. If you can travel a little the rates drop a little, but the best is still around £35-£45 pppn and some places wont do Saturday only. Bournemouth is a tourist town and the cost blooms out from there (though still cheaper than the cities).

As for travel from London...
Driving: M3 --> M27 -- A31 --> is on the A31.
MegaBus/National Express stop at Ringwood, which is 4.8 miles by car, 2.4 miles by foot (car route has to take a roundabout route, walking can be done in straight line)
Train to Southampton, then taxi or hitch a lift with someone in that area.
Train to Bournemouth, then taxi or hitch a life with someone in that area. I think my car is mostly full already.
