Oh and thank you to those who provided me with the German, French and Spanish language translations. If you notice any mistakes then I can have this corrected.

(Thanks to Rotersternhochdahl, Azzroag, Omake)

40mm metallic coins, one gold one silver.

Any feedback?

Cheers
Brendan
Fantastic idea. One piece of feedback for consideration:

Could you make:

A) the Blizzard surround White to contrast it from Pouring Rain (maybe make "UKTC III" Blue as a contrast) and
B) the Very Sunny surround Orange to contrast it with Sweltering Heat (maybe make "UKTC III" on Sweltering Heat Orange as a contrast)?

So not adding any colours just remixing them to make each individual weather token unique.

:blue: :)

WBBL - great news!

Garrick, thanks for those suggestions. Think you make an interesting point about making each face of the two coins unique. White would fit with Blizzard, blue with Rain etc. However I think I like the uniformity. And the designer has already gone over a few iterations with different colour combinations and we settled on the above.

Do appreciate the feedback and it could yet be altered before production so keep the comments coming.

40mm squares is a bit big. Is smaller not possible, 30mm like the NAFC tokens perhaps?

Thanks Jon. I'll have a think.

The idea re 40mm is for increased visibility. So something both players and also spectators can easily identify.

Easier to differentiate if all 4 are unique

I am really frightened that i had the exact same ideas and suggestions that garrick had, when looking at the markers!
I'd agree makeing each weather condition with unique colors (yellow comes into my mind for very sunny)
(wonderful gift btw)

And Just a hint - nobody in germany actually uses the german terms but the exact translations in the german lrb are:

very sunny - sehr sonnig
sweltering heat - Drückende Hitze
pouring rain - starker Regen
perfect weather - Gutes Wetter

Feedback noted and appreciated here and elsewhere, I may make some changes :)

I wonder whether French Italian and Spanish alongside English is better? Wanted to add German as much to acknowledge the fact we've had a strong German speaking attendance so far, but could easily change that.

Unceremonious bump...

Lots of interest already in the pipeline

-Several Scottish teams
-More Geordie teams
-Perhaps a Danish team
-A number of Yorkshire teams
-French, Germans making all the right noises once again

And many more returning and brand new lineups I'm sure.

This Summer - the time to get your teams together before the Autumn early bird deadline!
