I arrived home early this morning. I can recommend this tournament unconditionally next year.

The location was a gaming-themed pub in Budapest called Barcraft2. Frostmourne is on display on the wall. There's a wall full of board games. TVs showing games on twitch. Gamer art all over the tables and walls. A d20 table to roll on to get a random cocktail. Mana potions on the menu, served in a glass potion flask. I'd say it's worth going to even if there isn't a Blood Bowl tournament going on.

And the tournament itself was fantastic too. Well organized, bottles of Palinka as a door prize, trophies and board games to be won. The only downside, if you want to call it that, is that a bunch of coaches showed up who are better than me. This led to exciting and close games, but no trophy for me (although I did sneak my way to a Most Cas award, mostly thanks to smashing up some Chaos Dwarves).

Who is going next year? No excuses. Budapest is easy to get to and inexpensive to vacation in, as well as being a pretty fun and historical vacation spot on its own.
