Quick. One to anyone planning on using the Metro to get to the venue. It won't be running between Central Station and Gateshead Interchange from the Friday night all through the weekend. It is a good 15-20 minute walk (but certainly doable), or there are various taxi or bus options that wouldn't be very expensive. Just add a bit of time into your journey.

If you just want to play the one day that's also fine as I'm spare man so could drop in or out of the draw. It would be £15 for a one day entry which would include food.

What is not to love? Excellent eccentric venue with damn fine beer and a night out on the toon (if you don't get abandoned at midnight ).

Not sure it's a good idea to go to this given that a very expensive-looking Eurobowl is very shortly after. Also, I think another Saturday night around Newcastle would kill me.

Hello again North Eastern Bloodbowling Appreciation Society!

Minor edit to clarify a couple of things.

Firstly, despite a problem with the venue around Block Around the Clock this year I'm happy to confirm that The Black Bull pub WILL still be our venue, and has confirmed our attendance. The ticket price is unchanged, and is including a meal Saturday afternoon and a proper Sunday Roast to mop up all the beer you'll be drinking on the night out!

Secondly, despite it only being June we have had a few people pay up already so I thought it was time to start a listening those fine individuals who will be gracing us with their presence. As you where ladies and gents...

"Firstly" I have already said hurrah about point 1, it will be great to be back in the Black Bull again.
