The Slam is only a few weeks away now. Still 7 spots available if you fancy it.

Would the curry be in Stockport somewhere? Or is somewhere like Mowgli in MCR an option? We'd prob need to book a table but that can be cancelled on the afternoon if we don't have enough interest? We could go for a cocktail or some't in a fancy town pub, with toilet seats an all't.

RULES QUESTION! Should the Thing From Th'Pit have Loner?

ANOTHER RULES QUESTION! In what team order do you resolve High Kick? And how would a player end up in the opponent's half? Can we assume that we can place one of our players under either ball in the event of a High Kick, if either ball ends up there after scatter?

Re: Thing from the Pit -Yes, loner for sure.

High kick, there's no touchback so you can place the balls near the halfway with impunity if you like. Resolve as normal kick-offs.

Re: curry, I'll message around and see what people fancy. Could certainly book somewhere just in case. I'll be driving by then so could get a couple of people to town with me.
