Hartlepool was in the news in Germany. Not for this though ...

Re: Monkeybowl XII, April 1/2 2017 *NOW WITH RULES POLL*
Please take part in the above poll about next year's Monkeybowl rules. I guess I'm only looking for input from people who have attended in the past and/or are thinking of attending in future. Please also post your reasons if you wish. Thanks!
PS - the change to the Handicap system is that brand new players (or those who have played fewer than 15-20 NAF games or some such) will be placed in the middle of the handicap system rather than the bottom.
PPS - I'll treat the results here as non-binding, but may very well act on them directly...
EDIT: POLL ENDED. We return to Doubletake this year!

I voted for Andy Capp but like the Doubletake too, so why not combine?
That top picture is Bills favorite, it shows him on table four in the fourth round, he is proud of that lol

Yeah you can just about see him
He was on table on in round 3 wasn't he?!
I'll take a look at that combo, though don't want it to be too OTT...

Just about lol, I believe he was on table one for round two and three lol?
I dont think it is that complicated, two teams and players get a handicap?

Re: Monkeybowl XII, April 1/2 2017 *NOW WITH RULES POLL*
I'll eat my hat if the 24-tier post-Dobby Bowl switcharoo hypnosis triathlon ruleset wins!
I'll run the poll a little longer before I set the rules. That doesn't necessarily mean that I'll stop it only when it gives me the result I want... but it might...

Re: Monkeybowl XII, April 1/2 2017 *NOW WITH RULES POLL*
OK, decision taken based on the above poll.
The rules next year will be "doubletake". Two races per coach, each played three times each, each match decided by placing a card face down in secret (in full knowledge of both rosters).
One small change to the rules from MB 2015 (last doubletake) - the first tiebreaker will be highest combined tier score. So goblins/khemri (4+3=7) would beat humans/vampires (2+3=5) in the event of a tie. Strength of Schedule would be the next tiebreaker.
If you're confused, don't worry. Rules will follow soon.
