TOs! You do not need multiple copies of rosters. It's a waste of paper.
Bribe level: good coffee.

Re: The Elflympic Games || 3rd December, 2016, Yate
I've been keeping deliberately quiet on here as I wanted to hear other people's opinions first, but it's about time I quickly weighed in.
To be honest though, it doesn't look like I need to! Everyone else has argued my point perfectly. As this is a virgin ruleset, I'm fully aware that it could turn out to be massively broken. If it is, then I'll refine it as needs be for the next event. But I still think it's going to be fun either way, or at least different. I've never taken Pass Block at a tournament before, but I think I've got four Pass Blockers planned...
(Also, if someone manages to win 7-0 and get 8 Long Bombs off then I think they deserve a bucketload of points. But we can save that for another topic.)
Lastly, comparing my ruleset to Quidditch bowl is not cool. It's taken a surprising amount of time and effort planning this, creating a ruleset that I believe offers a balance of fun, creativity and competitiveness, while encouraging people to try something new. I was very close to not publishing the rules at all, purely because I was afraid of rocking the boat. But I would rather try something new and fail horribly than keep quiet and grumble about it from the shadows.

Nonsense! Each and every Blood Bowl coach should be forced to enjoy their hobby in a way that others have decided is the correct way. None of this trying different stuff malarky
Sadly not sure i can make this, as I have the perfect plan for milking points from start to finish :p Oh and the puppetmaster might cut my strings if I attend.

One question on the rule set I was confused about after playing around with myself, the roster generator, can we upgrade a players Stats, like strength Ag etc?

I'm a British Freebooter, will play for any team including Undead (I have my own Apothecary). Good rates.

No stat ups! The roster allows it as ta based on another roster that has it built in. I'm going to replace it soon with a version that allows Wizards, bribes and chefs.

But all joking aside I think having multiple Wizards would be a great asset in defeating the pansy elfs passing game, possibly going to bring Stunty Underworld too, should be funTrumpkin wrote:....with a version that allows Wizards....

One wizard only, you rotten cheating so-and-sos!
Updated the roster now to allow Wizard, Chef and Bribes.
(and yes the costing is correct for Halflings and Gobbos.)
(Please let me know if it goes wrong!)
