Chaos Cup: Games Day Chicago

Tim Huckleberry's just posted this on the GW board:

"This just in: Games Day Chicago will see the 1st Annual Blood Bowl Chaos Cup Championship!

Officially sanctioned by Jervis Johnson and Specialist Games, this will be the premier Blood Bowl event in America. Jervis himself will be on hand to preside over the games, and the winners will be immortalized into the Chaos Cup itself. They will also be written into Blood Bowl history too!

This will be August 1 & 2 at Games Day Chicago (the Friday before Games Day will be at the Chicago Battle Bunker and then at Games Day itself on Saturday). Space will be limited. Look for more news shortly on this.

Wow! Where can I find out more inforomation about this? I'm pretty much out of the loop on this kind of thing, butI think its pretty cool that something related to BloodBowl is going on in my town. Who plans on attending?

i once melted a credit card to go to chicago when given 10th-row tix to the u2 popmart tour on 24-hours notice... that's all the impulsive and financially reckless trips to chicago i'll be able to make in this lifetime...

Has anybody heard if there are tickets left or not? I can't belive tehy are only going to have 48 spots for the "premier tournament for America"

I think they have raised the quota, and have allowed 60 coaches in.

Doc Drak (NAF Rank 4th), Lupus (NAF Rank 12th), and another no-ranked gamer from Barcelona, have tickets already.

I also happen to know that the GT winners got a free ticket to this tournament as well. If they're not able to make it, I'd expect to see their tickets for sale.

Some of the Spanish Team will be there in Chicago, to win the Trophy and to take some holidays! We want the Chaos Cup also!

Doc Drak (Naf 4th), I (Naf 12th) & Kerrunch (Naf 114th) will be there...
