A few years ago, Glowworm managed 4th place at several events and lamented that those at 4th place have played really well but get no recognition. There was much..... whingeing?

Completely independently two TO's took it upon themselves to award the 4th place coach. They called it the Glowworm Award. Again there was no communication between these two TO's; it was a complete coincidence.

Since then the award has spread all over the South West and abroad and Glowworm has adopted the number 4 as his personal number.

The current situation is: ..... I've found another venue ( at higher cost) which will accommodate the 36 already booked, it may house more however I cannot confirm that until January as its being refurbished and new tables are being bought.

It's in Malmesbury, Wiltshire BTW!

Once it's open I'll go down and check out what's available, then let you know on here, however I'll stress now you'll need jigsaw or old style pitches rather than vinyl or the new ( bigger) boards if we want to get maximum numbers in....
