Lycos mentioned the Davenport too this weekend. Might be worth checking that too. It is a touch ropey mind.

Davenport and Alma Lodge are both worth checking out. I have, from great tournament experience, realised that we spend very little time in your hotel so quick and easy has done me well

@stan - yep! The weekend social plans will be:
Friday night - I'll sort a meeting place in Stockport for anyone who fancies a beer & a chinwag.
Saturday - as last year, the organised bit will be games & beers at EG, along with the pizza & beer deal. I'm certain there will be people up for further drinking/dancing escapades in Stockport/Manchester for those who fancy it too.
I'll post something re: the pizza/beer later.
