First thing that jumps to mind is the lack of legacy stars, do you folks think this is intentional or an oversight, since last years Full Beard allowed them, and even issued a Star Player document.

Here's last years event post for comparison:

That's not quite true... It wasn't the first thing, the first thing was the fact I had to go hunting for the ticket price!

They could apply.... Doubt they will.

One wonders if they approached the NAF at all.

I asked them this on email " Hello, I have a question about the rules for Full Beard 17. Does this mean the Legacy Stars from CRP and last years Full Beard are not allowed? Zara etc... And are Grak & Crumble legal too? "

This is the current official answer for those interested:

"...Currently the answer to both questions is no they aren't allowed, as they are not in Death Zone Seasons 1 or 2. Don't panic though!

We've had it asked a few times and while we are obliged to support the publications produced by Games Workshop (we aren't allowed add stuff to games or change things - it muddies the waters and then people wave the "GW Official Super Duper Rules Changes Flag" and everything gets messy) we are looking at being able to do something about the Star Players, but it is out of our hands at the minute so we have to sit tight for now.

So the bottom line is that for now it's a no, but keep an eye out. I know it's tough to practice for games in this situation so we are seeking to resolve it ASAP but it might end up changing nothing so we will have to see. "

There's a new rulespack up for this now. Hope you'll see it as an improvement.
