A couple of people have asked about parking.

As mentioned it in several places on the thread and in the rulespack, nowhere will be particularly great value for money, sadly.

Your main two options are a car park directly behind Firestorm (Prospect Place car park), or the Regent Circus multi-storey car park at the bottom of Victoria Hill (the road that the venue is on), followed by a five-minute walk up to Firestorm.

Address for the venue is 121 Victoria Rd, Swindon, SN1 3BH.

Maverick also said he was only driving because I wasn’t worth messing about with trains for, which hurt my feelings, what a monster.

Also, there’s a pub across the road from the venue called the Victoria. I propose a quick post-tournament beer once we’re all done, before everyone hits the road, because... beer.

If anyone doesn't mind a little walk (10 mins, bit of a hill), the area in the blue circle is free on road parking. The blue cross is the venue.

Here’s the Prospect Place rates, works out cheaper to top up through the day than pay all at once.

I’m happy to pop out and top up cars in the day, if you give me the pennies and your keys.

Alternatively, the PayByPhone app lets you do it without going back to your car.

As Mike says, you can find free parking a within walkable distance, so that may be the way to go if you leave time in your journey to get there.
