Several reasons, including (but not limited to)...

Logistics - more coaches increases the chance of a heavily skewed draw (one coach having an 'easier' draw than another based on a lucky/unlucky draw), as it's predetermined before game one, so WLD doesn't factor into who you would play throughout the weekend.

Customer service - coaches that keep coming back say they prefer the smaller format.

Consistency - Dave's is just the right size, and it's more comfortable chilling out between rounds.

Selfish - the less sleep deprived Blood Bowlers I have to orchestrate, the better!

Hello folks, having spoken with Canteloup (whose house this event takes place in) we’ll have to follow the trend of others and postpone this one ‘til 2021.

Places will be held and, if you’ve paid for a t-shirt, PM me your address and I’ll get them out to you in the week at no extra cost.

Coffee Cup cards have had an update!

Here’s a shot of the revised edition, dice for scale.

Everyone already on the Coffee Cup guest list will have a set of these waiting for ‘em when we (hopefully!) meet up in August.

I’ve got some spares though, which can be posted out for £5.50, so drop me a message if you want a set.

Dropped you a PM on here. Hopefully we’ll just break out of the restrictions in time for Coffee Cup and Foul Bowl - think Foul Bowl 4 was the last U.K. tabletop tournament before lockdown hit.

Will post BB2020 rulespack over the weekend (cheers to Raging82 for reminding me!).

Think a couple of you might be double-booked between Coffee Cup and Sin City which is scheduled for the same weekend, so please let me know if you want to give you spot to someone else and we’ll sort something out.

Potentially looking at a venue change that could open up some more spots, but want to see what the COVID-19 horizon is looking like a little closer to the time before committing to a move - it will still be in Swindon, so no further travel for those coming in from such exotic locations as... Derby!
