COSH Team Tournament III - Who can beat off TeamW? - Colchester 26/8/23

Evening all,

Myself and the nefarious Merman deliver the much badgered to rerun C.O.S.H Bowl Team Tournament III – a one day, four game, three player team tournament.

If you're lucky then each team should consist of three quality coaches – but you know any old gutter scum who can play the game will do at a pinch, if you are alone and wish to attend let us know we will try to find you a team.

The Venue can only support 14 teams before it runs out of space - that's our limit

The date is 26/08/2023 - 4 games at 4TK gaming, 20 Davey Close, Colchester, Essex, CO1 2XL.

Ticket price £15 per coach so £45 for a team - We will cover the cost of any new naf memberships.

Free Parking, reductions on blood bowl and other gaming merchandise, Tesco supermarket a five minute walk or hot & cold food & Drinks are available on site.

You will be required to submit your team name, and the races you are taking in advance – your game one opponents can check your rosters for you.

The Rules:

4 Games - Registration Starting at 9am and awards and completion by 8pm.

Team Value is 1,100,000 Gold Pieces.

Teams start with 0 dedicated fans.

You will take three teams – you have nine points to spend, the point values of the teams are below:

When you have chosen your teams subtract their points value from nine – then award each team the skill package from below based on the amount of points you have left:

Skill Packages:

0-1 Points remaining – 4 Primary skills
2 Points remaining – 5 Primary skills & 1 Secondary skill
3-5 Points remaining – 6 Primary skills & 2 Secondary skills
6 Points remaining – 7 Primary & 3 Secondary skills

You may exchange a secondary skill for a primary skill if you wish.

Skills do not stack – except for stunty teams which may stack a second skill on one player (not two Seconday skills though).

Stunty teams are defined as : Goblins, Halflings, Snotlings, and Ogres.

Star Players are banned – with the exception of Purplegoo.

You may ONLY take the following inducements listed on page 89 of the rulebook:

0-1 Weather Mage
0-2 Bloodweiser kegs (with Bloodweiser babes included)
0-3 Bribes
0-1 Mortuary Assistant
0-1 Plague Doctor
0-1 Riotous Rookies
0-1 Halfling Master Chef

Also no Slave Giants (on the pitch, if your slave giant can fit inside the building he is welcome to attend to your needs)

Scoring is 30/15/0 W/D/L with 1 Bonus point per TD/CAS up to a maximum of 3 in each catagory.
Your team score is a total of all three of your scores.

All Casualties you cause count - For example Crowd Surfs and Fouls do but failed dodges and GFI’s do not.

Tiebreakers in order will be: Strength of Schedule, Net TD's, Net Cas, Soggy biscuit.

Team Woodenspoons (There can only be one! Well three as it goes)

Games are set at 2 hours 15 minutes each which is about four minutes per turn - if you find yourself playing slower than this please request a clock so you can finish on time.
