Mulligan's Open 2024: Scotland's NAF National - 2nd March to 3rd March 2024 (Edinburgh, Scotland)

We are extremely happy to announce Mulligan's Open will be coming back for its 4th iteration on March 2nd to 3rd 2024 and what is more important... We are now a NAF National event! So that means double Elo fun!
Tickets will go on sale on the mkbbl website from Saturday July 1st 2023 at 9.00am GMT! There has been a lot of interest in the event and we expect tickets to go quickly. If you don't want to miss out it suggested to purchase your ticket ASAP.

COST: £40 (£45 for Non-NAF members, price includes NAF membership)
As per NAF guidelines, the documents that make up the tournament rule set are:
- the rules in the BB2020 starter box;
- the Teams of Legend document, released by Games Workshop and hosted on the Blood Bowl website;
- the FAQ, Designer’s Commentary and Errata, hosted on the Blood Bowl website;
- the rules for Slann as per the NAF website
Teams fall into the following categories:
Tier 1
Dark Elf, Lizardman, Shambling
Undead
Tier 2
Amazon, Chaos Dwarf, Dwarf, Human,
Norse, Orc, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf.
Tier 3
Imperial Nobility, Elven Union, High Elf, Necromantic Horror, Slann.
Tier 4
Black Orc, Chaos Chosen, Khemri Tomb Kings, Khorne.
Tier 5
Chaos Renegades, Nurgle, Old
World Alliance, Vampires
Tier 6
Halfling, Goblin, Ogre, Snotling
Coaches have 1,150,000 GP to create their starting team rosters, not counting additional skills (more on that below).
The tournament is resurrection style, meaning no injuries or deaths during games carry over into the next game.
Team rosters must consist of at least 11 players. Star Players do not count toward this total. If opposing teams have the same Star Player, both may be used.
Any team may take a Star Player, only after 11 players are rostered.
Inducements allowed are as follows:
Permitted inducements are as follows:
● 0 - 2 Bloodweiser Kegs
● 0 - 3 Bribes
● 0 - 2 Wandering Apothecaries
● 0 - 1 Mortuary Assistant
● 0 - 1 Plague Doctor
● 0 - 1 Riotous Rookies
● 0 - 1 Biased Referee
● 0 - 1 Halfling Master Chef
Once your 1.15 million GPs have been allocated, teams will be granted skill points based on the following tiers.
Tier 1 Teams: 5 skill points
Tier 2 Teams: 6 skill points
Tier 3 Teams: 7 skill points
Tier 4 Teams: 8 skill points
Tier 5 Teams: 9 skill points
Tier 6 Teams: 10 skill points
Skill points can be spent on the following:
Primary Skill: 1 point
Secondary Skill: 2 points
2 Primary Skills Stacked: 4 points
Star Player: 2 points
Mega Star: 4 points
AV Increase: 1 point
MA/PA Increase: 2 points
AG Increase: 3 points
ST Increase: 5 points
All tiers may purchase 1 Star player or Mega Star (not both.
Tier 1 may not spend their skill points on secondary skills.
Tier 2 & 3 can buy one secondary skill with skill points.
Tier 4 & 5 can buy two secondary skills with skill points.
Tier 6 can buy three secondary skills with skill points.
All skills are assigned before the tournament begins (i.e. no progression) and should be reflected on team rosters.
The following restrictions apply to your
additional skills selection:
● One player may stack two primary skills at
a cost of 4 points (for example a
Beastman Runner may have both Wrestle
and Tackle which are both primary skills,
this would cost 4 points in total).
● One player may increase one statistic
(points cost shown below)
● Any stat increases taken must confirm
with the maximum stat increase
restrictions as displayed within the BB20
rulebook. Therefore MA10 Gutter Runners
etc. will not be allowed.
● No player with a stat increase may take
an additional skill
● Star players on your roster may not be
given an additional skill or statistic
increase
There is no limit on skill incidence. Dwarves can have 4 Guards and Lizardmen can have 4 Blocks.

Draw = 50 points
TD = 1 point (max 3)
