The New Year can be a bit bleak, so why not liven it up a little with a chill day of Blood Bowl in Lancaster at Lunecaster Bowl IV? After multiple requests I've decided to change the NAF status of this tournament and am happy to say it has now been NAF approved. This does mean you'll need a NAF registration in order to sign-up. It also means you can improve your ranking by hammering me.

Just opposite the bus station and a ten minute walk from the train station. A car park is adjacent and would cost £6 for all-day parking but there are plenty of other car parks in Lancaster.

Rules
We will be using the team building rules for this year's NAF Championships, which can be found here (check the drop-down menu). We won't however be banning Kreek, Varag, Ivan "The Animal" or Drible and Drul. Those guys never did anyone any (lasting) harm!

It'll be 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw and the tie-breakers will be TD difference, head-to-head score and strength of schedule in that order.

Please bring a team where the miniatures clearly and unambiguously represent the players. If you are in any doubt or want to ask anything at all then check with the tournament organisers by posting below.

Food will not be provided but there will be 50% off food at GoBurrito just around the corner. If we sell all the tickets then prize support will be from the excellent Docminiatures who will provide a couple of miniature cases.

There are only 14 slots available for this tournament so please sign-up and pay as soon as you know you can make it. Your place is not reserved until payment is received.

Rosters
We will be using TourPlay to run this tournament, so please bring a smart phone or other wireless enabled device to record your games on the day. The app is very easy to use but we will be able to assist with using it on the day. Bring a pitch if you have one!

I can't be faffed with the extra book keeping. Different ticket prices. Checking membership status. Plus the requirement to seek approval 8 weeks out and the idea that someone gets to tell me I can't hold it on the day I want to.

I'm running the tournament to help out a local shop and they want to attract new players who might not have NAF membership. Some local players like the chance to bring strange rosters that won't affect their rankings.

It doesn't seem necessary. If I struggle to shift the tickets I'll reconsider next time.
