Allow them. And maybe Star Player for gobbos? (no star player Big Guys though.)

I guess he is 150k permanent addition (for all games)!

And is it the same mage for everyone or does every race get their own (master chefe, runesmith...)? I hope you meant the same mage for everyone... :o otherwise :puke:

Then no. Cheap teams will profit more than others and elves will still have difficulties getting their players and rr together. No cash left for their mage. Sounds not favorable to me.

I'd say yes - but at a 150k. I don't think anyone except Halflings would take one.

I know at least two (yes, 2) non-halfling players going to Paris in May and strongly considering one if they are allowed!

Let's await the results and the decision first... :smoking:

thx for the reply so far.
The idea would be with their own Wizard=>chief for halfling,....
But i want more vote to take the decision.

BTW, at spiky, there were 2 halfling coach and wizard werent allowed?

I was thinking of this idea.

A wizard costs 150K and an apothecary costs 50K
In a 5 games tournament, you could buy a wizard for 30K a match and an apo. for 10K a match. So, you could buy a wizard for two matches and an apo for 4 matches (f.i). for 100K. You should decide before the match if you want to use them during the game, which means that after that game, you could use the wizard one more time and the apo. 3 more times.

Any thoughts?

Way to cheap in my opinion, especially the "Prevent a TD for only 30,000gps"
Will make humies and similars even more effective (because with cheap linemen they are the ones that have money to spare for these things)

Possibly, but for 100K environments you either buy him once/twice or not at all.
Not usable in 110K I agree but in 100K it should be okay. Especially with the factor that you have to decide if you'll use him, before the game starts.

If you want him once, you have to decide in which game you'll use him.
The 30K will mean you either lose a positional or a reroll....

In 100k it should be better, but I'm still posed against wizards in tournaments any way.

Well, speaking for us dwarf and undead coaches, I agree whole hartedly. But, halflings have a better shot during a tournwy with their masterchef present.

Well, first of all, I don't think Halflings should ever have a chance of winning a tournament; not even when only Halflings are allowed to participate... :o
Second, if you do think so, allow only the masterchef to the tourney...

Well at TR 100 you could have

14 Halflings = 420
2 Ogres = 240
1 Apoth = 50
1 TRR = 60
8 FF = 80
1 Chef = 150

= TR 100.

That's not too shabby. Run up against the 1/2/3 TRR teams and they'll have trouble moving the ball.

Well,
Lucy, your idea seems quite god but it is hard to check, and to control for each game...
I agree with RedF about the fact that halfling should not be that good...

well, let try a TR110 Halfling team:
14 Halflings = 420
2 Ogres = 240
1 Apoth = 50
4 TRR = 240
9 FF = 90
=>1040
then you could buy another RR, or some Cheerleaders and assistants...

Ok, Halfling are better with chief but you can build a team with 1.100K
Dont you think so?
